This week at Adele's Bruno "It's a String Thing #190" we had a String with straight lines and three very angular tangle patterns to use: "Box Spirals" and "Windfarm" both by Margaret Bremmer, and "Nouvart" by Ria Matheusssen.
Here is my take on this challenge: For this tile I used Brown and Black Micron Pens, a Prismacolor Premier Fine Line Marker 005 in a sienna tone, Prismacolor Colored Pencils in "Cloud Blue", "Caribbean Sea", "White", "True Blue", "Sienna Brown" and "Light Umber" , and graphite for shading. It was an interesting challenge as I normally prefer curvy lines and patterns, but I really enjoyed it as it pushed me out of my comfort zone ;-) I hope you like it and come and visit often. As always if you would like to try something from this post in your own work please feel free to do so. - CraftyGirl Comments are closed.
