I know you probably thinking Snicker Doodles  for Valentine's? aren't those for  Christmas?, and you are right, but since my husband loves them,.. well I am baking them for Valentine's!  ;-)

Remember the mug I showed you that I ordered for my husband on my previous blog (to visit previous blog click here) well I am filling it with Snicker Doodles tied with a bow and then I am adding this handmade tag I made for him. For those of you that follow me on my Zentangle's blog you might recognize it from my last post, I took inspiration from our last Diva's challenge (click here if you like to visit).

I don't know if you are like me but I always find buying gifts for women so easy, there are so many possibilities the sky is the limit, but finding gifts for men, oh boy! I always get stuck, regardless if it is for my dad, my husband, brother or even my son, suddenly I have no ideas.

I was chatting about it with my friends and one of them, (who is a very talented designer) told me about this beautiful collection she made that would solve my problem, which it did! I thought some of you might benefit from it so, I am passing it on. Hope you enjoy it and find it useful!

I was directed to her "Rustic Monogram Collection" which has many stunning products (you can see I am very proud of her!) many of which are specially designed as personalized gifts!
They are specially great for those who love the outdoors activities like fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, skiing and so on, or for those who like wood and its graceful lines.

We all have been there, life brings us moments of true stress and difficulties and it is important that we find some kind of retreat.

There are a few things we can do to create such a space. It does not have to be a whole room, sometimes just a corner or even a bathroom when is decorated with that purpose it can create the perfect space where you can breathe and be still.

So let's see a few things we can do to create this kind of space:

  1. First, it is important that you feel the ENERGY OF THE AREA CLEAR and not heavy. starting by having the area UNCLUTTERED, remember less is better. If the area is full of things everywhere it will be hard for you to relax. Regardless if it is a hall way, bathroom, corner or big room, keep this area simple and clean.
