Hello there!, this week at Adele Bruno's "It's a String Thing Challenge #230" we had a string with 4 curved lines, 3 horinzontals and one vertical, and for patterns we had "Skelter", "Funsin"|and "Knightsbridge". I have to say that normally I don't love heart patterns but to my surprise I really enjoyed and actually loved both Skelter and Funsin!
Here is my take on them:
3.5" by 3.5" tile with patterns: Skelter, Funsin, Knightsbridge and a few Pearls
Hello everyone, this week at "I am the Diva Challenge #351" we had a string with hearts and for theme the Olympics. The challenge's title is "Heart of a Champion" very suitable to this moment when we are all watching the amazing Olympians do their best!...while cheering for our countries... Go Canada! ;-)
Here is my tile:
3.5" by 3.5" tile with patterns Printemps, Prestwood, Reeds, Purk, Zander and Msst.
This has been a very busy week for me and I could only find time to draw one tile. I found it really hard to choose which challenge to do, both are so inviting! In one hand in "I am the Diva Challenge #342" we were asked to use Zentangle Headquarters's new tangle "Dewd" which I was dying to try!. On the other hand, "Adele Bruno's It's a String Challenge#221" had a beautiful Christmas String with three tree cone shapes and after looking at Adele's Zentangled Gingerbread House I loved the idea of drawing something more festive and I felt her string calling me ;-) ....so, I decided to joined both challenges in one, that way I would not miss any of the fun! ... here is my happy result: 3.5" by 3.5" tile with patterns: Dewd, Cayke, Cake, Cuffle, Flux and Printemps Half way thru, I realized that in the IAST challenge we had to use patterns: Flux, Cruffle and Cake
Hello everyone! First of all I have some exciting news, or at least they are for me! I finally took the time to add a "subscribe" button to my blog. I wanted to do this for some time but it involved getting a bit techie (which I am not!) and learn a new process. So if you would like to receive my blog posts directly to your email you can find the subscribe button on the blog's right side bar and get all set up. If you happen to encounter any problems please let me know with a comment. By the way I would love for you to join Me! ;-) Now to the tiles. First is my tile for I am the Diva Challenge #340 where we were asked to use the pattern "Wibble". This was a fun challenge. I created this tile in a Renaissance tile using a blue Steadler marker, a fine point Prismacolor 005 sepia marker, a brown and black Micron markers, white gel pen, white Chalk and a bit of Prismacolor color pencils inside Wibble. Here is the end result: "Showcasing Wibble" 3.5' by 3.5' Renaissance tile with patterns: Wibble, Marasu, Diva Dance and Coil My second tile is a traditional Black and White tile I did just for fun this past weekend. I used only a black Micron pen and graphite for shading.
