This is my tile for this week's Adele Bruno "It's a String Thing" Challenge #182. For this week the String had a hand-letter "V" shape and we had to use the following patterns: -"Amore" and "LG" by Adele Bruno and -"Opus" by Zentangle
I had so much fun with this tile. I decided to use the hearts from "LG" pattern inside "Opus" (instead of the original tipple filler). I really enjoyed the end result.
Then since I thought both "Opus" filled with "LG's" looked like some kind of trees filled with love I thought they would probably give a lovely fruit, so I added a few of "Amore " hearts hanging from the tree branches ;-) For this tile I used Microns 01 in black and brown. Highlights with white chalk pencil, Shadows with a little bit of graphite and "Sienna Brown" Prismacolor color pencil. As always, if there is anything from this post that you would like to try yourself, please feel free to do so.
